A trip to remember..
Well, serious lack of wifi connection has stopped blog play of late. Safe to say, real life play did not stop! Highlights included: an afternoon of 60s inspired music from Jerry Douglas and Peter Rowan; Sarah Jarosz/Chris Thile/Parker Millsap creative menage a trous; my camp-mates, Hunter, Joe and Joshua; and Colorado - friendly, kind people, landscapes beyond description and a healthy approach to drug and alcohol legislation.
Yesterday, I stood on top of the continental divide (for just $8 instead of ten because I'm a 'senior'!!), had some delicious, locally brewed local beer in Salida, and watched a young woman surfing in the Rio Grande. Today I went into a pet shop in a tiny town, Fairplay, and met a couple who had been to Skye!
People talk about having the 'holiday of a lifetime', but this trip has been right up there with my Indian adventure of ten years ago. The memories will live long.
