Ice Alert!

I knew it was going to be cool at night...we are at 8,700 feet after all (3,000 feet higher than previously reported), but last night was, literally, freezing. There wasn't just frost on the tent, there was frost on me inside the tent! So, like half the campsite, I made for the thrift store this morning to stock up on a blanket, woolly hat, gloves, etc.  And that means I could come back to the sports bar and drink more of the lovely, local beer.

I've made friends with three young guys camping next to me, all musicians of one sort or another and they've brought their instruments with them, so I'm expecting some music at the campsite tonight...and then the main event kicks off tomorrow!

Sorry about the lack of pictures...I just haven't figured out how to get them loaded onto blogger :-(
